In the latest exclusive interview for our Weekend Features section, EAT’s video reporter Chris Buckler – an agent himself with Keller Williams – chats to Tom Durrant, managing director of DCTR, for an insight into the importance of digital staging.
Durrant talks about how a drab room can be brought to life with digital staging, while visualisation is made easier to turn an empty room into a furnished one and allow buyers to imagine what a given room would look like with furniture in place.
He says there are different levels of digital staging that agents can utilise, from adding objects to a boring set of sofas to give them some life to adding posh books on the bookshelves.
Durrant says the firm works plenty with agents of new-build homes and empty properties, to dress it an appropriate way and bring to life an empty shell.
It’s a fascinating video, running at just over six minutes, and is available exclusvely to EAT & LAT readers below.
